A European customer recently installed a new system on board an aircraft. Following airborne trials, the end customer requested ergonomic changes to the fixed control grip.
We delivered design proposal iterations over a 2-week period. Once the new configuration was agreed and the old grip was returned, we delivered the new grip to our customer within a week.
We hold open UOR-type slots in our R&O schedule for just this situation. We were therefore able to deliver an incredibly fast service thanks to our strategic stock of parts and a rapid turnaround from one of our local suppliers.
